The United Way has been a proud partner with BCAA for many years. With Jeff’s extensive experience in developing philanthropic investment strategies to address critical social issues and connecting individuals and corporate donors with causes that matter, his experience will help the team truly measure the level of need in the finalist communities.

Kaitlyn enjoys representing Global BC in the community attending, covering and emceeing charity events. In her free time she loves to be outdoors playing soccer, softball, football and snowboarding. As the co-face of BCAA Play Here in 2018, she understands the importance of being active and physical exercise for children and looks forward to be a part of the judging panel this year.

Shawn Pettipas
Director, Community Engagement

Shawn has been leading all of BCAA’s community initiatives for the last 5 years. He’s led the School Safety Patrol, Car Seat Programs, and anything else that is about giving back in our community. With his fantastic team, Shawn has also led BCAA Play Here since its inception, 3 years ago. To date, with the BCAA team, he’s successfully help build 6 new play spaces in all corners of British Columbia.
